It seems like every time I go there something else goes wrong shortly afterward.
But this time, I had just replaced the starter three weeks ago. All I went in for was a broken bolt that holds the starter in place. $188.00 later, they had replaced the starter solenoid and were wanting to do a lot more work. Now, I realize it's Christmas and they want to buy things for their family but they took presents away from my kids with their greed.
They said that the bolt on the solenoid was stripped and they had to replace it. I know that the bolt wasn't stripped when I took it in. I had just replaced that starter myself. And I had just looked at it 30 minutes before I took it in because I had to hold the starter in to get it started because of a broken bolt holding the starter in. They said they had to replace the starter solenoid because of a stripped post. The stripped part is nice and SHINY while the rest is weathered. THEY CHARGED ME TO REPLACE A PART THAT THEY SCREWED UP!!! And charged me the labor to do it too.
When I first went in they said that if they had to drill the bolt out and re thread it that it would take about an hour of labor and be $65. But when they finished it was suddenly 2 hours of labor plus parts. And it was parts that they screwed up.
